Happy birthday to me.
I'm beginning to realize that the older a person gets, the less people care about the person's birthday. It's a shame because birthdays are fun and it's nice to have just one day out of the whole miserable year dedicated to yourself.
I tried to have a birthday party a few days ago, but no one really showed up, just a few family members. The cake was nice. My neighbour, Tara, got me a bucket of coloured chalk for my present which made me smile.
