Today we made puppets for our French project. It made me wish Karen was there because she would always talk about making puppets of people.

I finished reading Watch Your Mouth. I liked it a lot, but I thought The Basic Eight was better.
I guess I'm the only one who just doesn't give a damn about the tedium that is the Super Bowl, or as I used to call it when I was little, the Stupid Bore. Actually, I still call it that. Watching beefy grown men smack each other's spandex clad hindquarters for four hours just doesn't entertain me as it does others.
Apparently some people watch it solely for the commercials. If anyone can explain to me the reasoning behind it I would like to know because it sort of pisses me off. I mean you're going to see these commericials for the rest of the damn year, why bother to watch them early? In two weeks you're just going to hate them anyway.
I need a new book to read, although I suppose I could finish The Phantom of the Opera. I want to read A Farewell to Arms by Hemingway. Oh yeah, my dad gave me a book of short stories written in the late sixties and early seventies. Problem solved.
