Dear Roommate:
First off, let me just say that I've been following our previous "
agreement" to the LETTER, despite the fact that I've yet to see you return home before 1:30.
I don't mind when you come out, say the music - which I was playing in the kitchen - was loud, and you were taking a nap (all the while sounding perfectly calm and reasonable). I realize it was loud, and I apologized; I hadn't realized you'd been sleeping. It was about 6:00 in the evening, so I believe I was well warranted in that belief. I then turned it down.
So DON'T come CHARGING out of your room a few moments later, ranting about how "You'd been studying all day" and all you wanted was "a few moments rest" and I should have "respect for other people besides myself". Weren't you the one that said you were totally okay with my music during the day?
Besides, I had spent all day at work, and all I wanted to do was relax with some sing-a-long playlist, curry, and - later, once said curry was done - Doctor Who. Why don't you respect me for a change?
Also daytime naps are bad for you. I should know.
So, in a phrase, no. Hell no.
