Longtime, no updates....sorry
OK, OK, I'm a bad blogger. What with Facebook and Twitter keeping most of my friends almost constantly updated, you'd think I'd remember this thing.
So, I'm back on CoX for the time being, and even though RRX-007 got his @$$ handed to him by Reichsman, I'm enjoying alot of the changes since I last played. (Oh yeah, I've got the SCIENCE! pack and am trying to learn to write a macro for my mad scientist character to do the following: Drink Potion, Costume Change (from male to female identical costume) and say on the local channel, "Damn, not again!" Then later I want the female to drink the potion and go to a Hyde-like huge costume w/ a roar.
I've also gotta stop playing CoX on my laptop...man does it get HOT when I play for any length of time. I've got fans blowing under it, but they are not enough. So it's back to the desk top for playing.
In other things, I've come up with the basic system for my spy game. I'm thinking 1dFate per stat+ skill vs. target number (though that may change to d6 in playtesting) Stats 1-4, skills 1-6 (or 1-10). I'm hoping things come together and I can clean up the notes enough to actually publish the game. It'll be silly and fun...think Get Smart, Austin Powers, Flint, ect.
On the love life, nothings changed there, still terminally single...though there is a couple of signs of hope. The scary thing is one of them is a younger clone of my mother...I swear it, and I'm really starting to like her. What's wrong with me?
