The Wrestler, and a wild night here at home....

Jan 30, 2009 20:40

Great day today, first I spent $220 at the store this week on groceries, C&C Red Alert 3, and a few household things.  (We needed a new griddle and coffee maker...joy)

Then, just as I'm getting ready to head to the ATM to get cash for the movie, my bank calls and tells me my debit card number's been compromised at one of the processors.   They gave me access to get the cash out, and now I'm without a debit card for 1-2 weeks.

So, my youngest brother, my father and myself went to our local single screen theatre (The Dundee) and saw The Wrestler.  A very good movie, and Mickey Rourke deserves every award he's won or been nominated for.  If you have not yet seen it, go as soon as possible, and see it.

So, I take my brother home, get dinner and start to relax with C&C.  My parents leave to a local Italian place for dinner.  About 15 minutes later, they call and they were in a car accident.  They are O.K., but the front end of their car is messed up.

So, after they get home, they add one more layer to the story, the place they went to eat was held up while they were there.

So, my parents are not planning on leaving the house the rest of the night.

So for the rest of the night, I'm gonna play C&C and perhaps watch Hulk vs.

Oh, and I got "Ray Guns Are Not Just the Future" by The Bird and the Bee today.  It's fantastic...another must get if you like pop music w/ a 60s style and Inara George has the most beautiful voice I've heard in a long long time.

zombies (or not), movies, music
