It will take time to grow and change and it will involve pain and darkness, but eventually you'll realize thats the only way that means anything. Being simply handed everything you want on a plate is meaningless and ultimately won't make you happy.

Friends, people like you after their own fashion. They may have some very unlikely disguises but in a way they will be the angels above your head.
They will watch over you, help keep you going and just generally be there to hang out with.
