How the nightmare became a dream once again

Sometimes, perspectives change, quickly, radically. As if it were a personal revolution. A week ago, the three of us cried over our break-up. All three of us were left with a feeling of injustice. What happened that Friday night, was wrong and left us all crying. As written before, Samantha and I went home on Saturday, parting with a genuine Hollywood-style goodbye.

In half a week, our house turned from a nicely kept household to what seemed to be the aftermath of a terrorist attack by Sunday. After skipping vacuuming for a single day, clouds of dust, mainly consisting of cat hairs, can be found all over the place; needless to say what happens when it's skipped for four days. The dishes remained undone and neither of us were able to get things done.

So when Samantha called me at work on Monday, that Sanne wanted to talk things over, just hopped on the last train to our place and would be there by 1 am, while I was working untill 10 pm, my heart skipped a few beats. Not only did that leave me with only two hours to make our house presentable, but it meant that the false hope I still had might've actually been real hope.

After picking Sanne up from the train station together with Samantha in the middle of the night, we quickly went home and exchanged a few hugs. After that we started talking, or mostly they started talking and I was listening, not knowing what to say. We all shed some more tears and decided parting wasn't really helping any of us.

Before Tuesday's dawn ended the night, the three of us were back together again, and now crying from happiness. More determined than ever to keep our relationship standing, our two-day break-up has eventually resulted in what seems a relationship more solid than ever, and all three of us are now more determined than before to keep things going, as we don't want to loose each other. Again.

Samantha, Sanne, I love you both and I realize that with the two of you, I'm one of the, if not the, luckiest guys in the world.
