Language school and outreach update

I got an e-mail from my friend Mynor in Nicaragua (He's from Guatemala) and he recommended Centro Linguistico Maya in Antigua. http://www.travellog.com/guatemala/antigua/clmaya/address.html

He said that he and Anke (his wife) have recommended it to several different YWAM students and they've had great success with it. So I'm probably going to go to that one.

I was researching more YWAM bases and it seems that YWAM Guatemala's January DTS starts on the 25th, which would give me plenty of time to learn spanish and start a DTS. I would just get my plane tickets for December 31st 2006 and June 12th 2007. It would allow me to spend and extra few weeks in Guatemala and to become fluent in the language before I start my DTS. It would mean spending six months abroad, but it would be totally worth it! Plus this DTS costs $1900 including outreach (unless outreach is too far away) and that's $1000 less than the other DTS. I totally feel like it's possible (with God's help) to raise up all that money from fundraising. It would lead me on an adventure too!

It might get kinda crazy to go directly from Guatemala to home for a couple of days and then back to Houston, but whatever God wants... I am up for the adventure! I love to travel!
