(no subject)
So I've been racking my brain going back and forth on whether to do a language school in Latin America for 3-4wks or DTS in Ensenada, Mexico for five months! Upon futher thought... I think I am going to look into a way that I can do both! The language school in Guatemala:

If there's a way that I could go to the Language school before or after I work at summer school this summer (in June or in late August) that could work. Or if I could take off time from my student teaching next fall towards the VERY end to go to school in late November and into December, that could work out too. (Plus I could get some really cool Christmas gifts in Guatemala for cheap! and maybe visit my Nicaraguan friends!)
I just have to pray about it some more, the peeps at the DTS seem excited at the prospect of having me, I am excited about it as well... the possibility of networking with people in Mexico will help with my future teaching job with Teach for America in Texas. A lot of my student's families will have come from Mexico, so living there fore 2-3 months will help me be able to connect with them later too. Plus I have to work on fundraising and letters..shoot I need to send out that thank you letter to peeps who supported me to Nicaragua! All in good time I guess... but I will not forget it, I actually have it written. :)
Ah so much to think about and never enough hours in the day, off to work tomorrow at the school.... no clue what I am going to do but I am required to be there for some meeting or something, at least I get paid!
