My attempts at essay writing have been interrupted by the rest of the world. Specifically, packing for my holiday in Europe and now the holiday itself. I'm currently sitting in Dubai airport, waiting for my flight to Frankfurt. From Frankfurt, I continue on to Budapest, where my mother will be waiting at the airport (she arrives from Istanbul an hour before I get there).
Then, I have just over a month in Europe. Mostly Hungary, since that's where my free food and accommodation family are, but
zidtt and I are planning to travel into Austria and Germany too, and maybe even some other places if we really feel like it. He's already in Europe. He left a few days before me.
So, anyway. Europe. Shiny. XD
If you want a postcard, comment with your name and address and I'll see what I can do. Comments are therefore screened.
My major observation so far: planes are too small, especially in economy. Airports, on the other hand, are too big - especially when you have a new pair of leather boots that you're trying to wear in. My feet are very band-aid-ed. So is my thumb. I broke my nail. On the flight. Where nail clippers are banned. Then it got snagged on something and split right down to the quick. It hurts too. Boo hoo, it sucks to be me. Not as much as it will, though - I've been awake for a good four hours, and it's only 9:30am where I'm going. Perhaps I will have an afternoon nap on my next flight.
My phone is diverting all calls to voicemail while I am away, to save me money. If you want to talk to me, send me an sms or an email.
I will try to keep posting while I am away. Perhaps I might even start actually using my twitter account.
Europe, beware.
