🎓What motivates me to learn sales
⚗ In natural sciences it is easy to focus on learning hard facts and methods. E=mc^2. Adenine binds to thymine. And so on it goes.
🤷♂️ However, when it comes to sales I see many people dismiss the learning process completely. Some believe it is just a natural talent and cannot be learned (ignorant), another think it magically comes to you just by selling (delusional). In reality, sales is a skill to learn and perfect, like downhill skiing or playing a guitar.
🤝 Moreover, sales involves other people. And this is what fascinates and motivates me to learn and improve it - it is basically a practical application of communication and decision making skills. I believe, to make any impactful change in the world, one needs to master precisely these skills. And this is why I am deliberately working on it.
