Not that I'm any kind of expert on the subject, but I generally agreed with Singapore's strict crime-and-punishment system. It helps them enjoy one of the more crime-free societies around.
I agreed with the whole caning of the spraypaint guy thing. I mean you dont go to another country and vandalize it.
But wow, I think this one goes a little far. Singapore jailed two people for blogging racist remarks. Now racism is never pretty. But it's their journals, albeit public ones. Where's the free speech? Wonder if they still would have gotten in trouble if it was a private entry, yet still discovered somehow?
