Well over the last few months I have been thinking about many things. I have thought about my home life work and recreation. I have thought about the sacrifices that I have made and the ones that others have made for me. I have thought about friends gained and lost. Are you just not happy in the Navy anymore, or is it just time for a change??

I think that I am ready to move on to something that I love to do. I have had a great time in the navy....I am just ready to move on. You know what I mean?

Yeah. I know what you mean. It just seems like you've put in so much time in the Navy and you're half way to retirement. How much do you know about interior design?? Do you think you'll be more happy there than in the Navy or will it be something that you figure out once you're in school??

Well as far as a career in interior design goes, I have been interested in it pretty much my whole adult life. I know that I am ready to jump right in and use all of my potential. I have thought about the fact that I am leaving a career that I have spent 9 years in but the problem for me is that I am truly not happy. I wake up in the morning and dread going to work. You know how motivated I used to be and how much I loved the Navy before. I just think that I have given all I can give to the Navy.

I understand man. If you're not really happy, there's no point in doing it. cmmunchkin wasn't happy in higher education. Sometimes you just have to move on. When is you're enlistment over?? And when would school start??

Well, my enlistment is over on the 4th of November. I will be starting the Police Academy in April and AI would be in the Fall of this coming year.

That's cool. It will give you some time to chill out and decompress between November and April.
