Happy New Football Seasonmas!

Last night my sometimes frustrating but beloved Colts kicked the crap out of last year's Cinderella story, the Saints. Indianapolis looked like Superbowl Champions. Besides one fumble returned for a touchdown, the game was all Colts. The Colts defense didn't look like it lost six starters from last year, plus their main run stopper due to an injury in preseason. Joseph Addai looked like a capable replacement for Edgerrin James. Time will tell whether he will be able to hold up under the grueling schedule of being an every down back every game in the NFL. Last year he was a rookie and splits running duties roughly fifty-fifty with Dominic Rhodes, who is no longer with the team. From what I have scene though he is a perfect fit for the offense. Behind him though there is no experience at the position. There was a tense moment when he went down at the very beginning of the game. Peyton Manning was typical Peyton Manning, throwing for around three hundred yards and three or four touchdowns. The Colts' offense is like a surgeon when it is operating correctly. Now I have to wait until next Sunday to see how they look against division rivals Tennessee with Vince Young. Last night though they played like they want to win a second Superbowl.
