On Saturday, Erik and I decided to be bad and head into Orlando. I needed hair bleach and some other items that are not readily available in Ocala, so it was a good excuse to go down to our favorite mall - Festival Bay. Little did we realize that there was some huge Halloween thing going on on International Drive, so the street was backed up all the way across and made it a total pain in the ass to get where we needed to go. Never-the-less, we enjoyed our time down there, and also checked out Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. I really thought that this movie was going to be fucking stupid and would ultimately piss me off. I can honestly say though, that I was proved wrong... I thought the movie was well written and well done and I was very impressed! It was also one of the goriest movies I have seen in a long time, and a few times I found myself feeling queezy and wondering if perhaps I'm just getting too old for this? (No worries, I'm not :)

You've got to wonder about some of the dumb asses that brought their children into that movie. We saw a family near the front of the theater who brought 4 small Children in with them (ranging in ages from 4 to about 12). Oh if only I was a Social Services Agent... ::shakes her head::

Yesterday I got all excited because of the Flavor of Love 2 marathon and finale'. I cleared my schedule entirely so that I could just be a couch potato all day, eat fried chicken and watch Bitches pull each other's weaves out. About an hour into the marathon, I got a call from a Woman applying for a Husky, that I had been trying to reach to set up a Home Inspection appointment. She wanted to know if I could be there that afternoon, since she would be working all week and wouldn't be able to do it again until the following weekend. I called Erik to come meet me, and we went to their home to do our Inspection. It was a gorgeous home and they had a really nice double-lot yard. The 2 Dogs that they have now seem to be spoiled rotten and well taken care of. I ended up filling in the report which in the end was over 6 pages long, and I have my fingers crossed that they will be approved to adopt, since I thought they were really awesome people. And I'll be ticked if I wasted a perfectly good Flavor Flav marathon for nothing... ;)

Today I have really nasty cramps that won't seem to go away. I went to Yoga early this morning to try to help with some of the pain. It did help for a while, but a miracle it was not. Oh, the burdens of being a Woman... ::sighs:: I'm sure you all really wanted to hear about this ;)
