"You really should stop baiting her."
The puppy whined.
Azula frowned, crossing her arms over her chest. "Don't give me that look. You knew as well as I did what would happen. The woman is insane, and hardly someone to keep her word-- you knew she'd resort to her pathetic spells, whether she had agreed to a 'fair fight' or not."
The puppy rested her head on her paws, looking up at the other girl despondently. Azula tsked, walking over and sitting down in her armchair. The puppy moved to lie down at her feet, and the princess's expression softened a little.
"This is the third time, Ty Lee." The puppified girl let out another long, low whine, and lightly pawed at Azula's leg. She glanced down. "What are you-- no, Ty Lee. You'll get fur all over my chair." Ty Lee scrambled to her feet and put both her front paws on Azula's knee, barking once. Her tail wagged. Azula's eyes narrowed. "... I'm not getting on the floor with you." Another bark. Another sharp reprimand. Then Ty Lee backed up, got a running start, and launched herself into the lap of a less-than-amused Azula.
Azula snarled. This was the reason that she didn't like animals. She tried to pick Ty Lee up and put her back on the floor, but the puppy burrowed behind Azula, avoiding her hands. After a few moments of struggling (of course, Azula could have just stood up and dragged her off the chair, but she never did), Azula huffed heavily, giving up and letting Ty Lee cuddle against her side. "You are incredibly irritating." Ty Lee licked her fingers. Azula wiped them off on her fur, then was quiet for a moment.
"Tomorrow, we'll go to Ekoda and make her turn you back." Ty Lee gave a tiny growl of assent.
