Do I kno- [Clark stops mid sentence and looks you over curiously, focusing a lot on your face. He might be peeking behind that mask.]

...Robin, huh? Am I younger where you're from, or did Batman and I never break up the band?

Both? I'm sorry, this is a little... I suppose I should be used to this kind of thing by now. I'm in an alternate universe? [He looks around.]

[He blinks, confused by the reference, and looks up... way up.] Um. No...

Hi there, young man. I'm afraid I'm a little lost...

[He nods, puzzling over words for a second.] Hub makes. People lost. Um... di. Dimensions? [He frowns, realising he's not sure the right way to express the idea of alternate dimensions properly.] Many. Many dimensions.

I'm in another world, then. I kind of suspected...

Anything dangerous going to pop up and attack us soon? [That's how this sort of thing usually goes, in his experience.]

[Clark turns when you call his name, but when he looks you over there's no recognition.] I'm sorry... have we met?

Oh. [Tim's face falls.] I'm sorry. I mistook you for... someone I know. I'm... I'm Tim. Are you new in the Hub?

[Clark feels sorry, too, to make you look that disappointed.] Yes. Still trying to find my way around, figure out what's what. [He holds his hand out.] Name's Clark Kent. It's very nice to meet you, Tim.

Not at the moment, Mr. Kent. [Matrix can't help grinning a bit as she uses such a formal title with her adoptive 'brother'. But she's in costume and he's not.]

[Clark stares at her in surprise, taking in her costume and emblem] Ah...

No, I'm fine. I'm afraid you have the advantage of me...?

Uh oh. Are you from a time without Supergirl?

I must be a little from the future, compared to you.

I suppose so. I've certainly never met you in my world. It's very nice to make your acquaintance.

Hi. [Clark holds his hand out to shake.] I'm Clark Kent, of the Daily Planet. I'm...not entirely sure how I ended up here. Do you know very much about this place? [He's not his trusty little notepad in his other hand.]

[Carter smiles, and shakes Clark's hand (human) firmly.] I know some people at the Daily Planet. It's a good paper.

This place pulls people in at random, and when and how it puts them back seems to vary from person to person. But most people do eventually go back, if they want to.

Oh? Who do you mean? [Clark knows pretty much everyone in the building by now.]

That's good to know. I was a bit worried about how to get back, though I'm enjoying exploring. I'm sure I can turn this into a pretty interesting story, though I'm not sure if anyone would believe me.
