Despite her previous statement, she doesn't look at all pleased. "Bruce. It'll be at least another twenty-four hours before he can leave."

He's actually from the opposite-alignment 'verse, so... shenanigans?

The question brings a weak smile to her face. "Before I'll let him," she qualifies. "I'm sure he'll try and leave before that. He always does."

She scrutinizes the man before her. His facial features are familiar but older than she would normally expect. "Timothy? My, how you've grown."

She puts a hand to his cheek briefly. Perhaps it's an all too personal gesture but it's been months since she's seen Timothy. Her Timothy at least. "I didn't realize I'd gone anywhere," she answers honestly.

"You and Dick. You never stop moving," she mutters and shakes her head. Her voice lacks any animosity.

He grins a little and flips right side up again. "Can't help it. Too much energy. How's it going tonight?"

"Better than I'd hoped," she answers honestly, glancing up the main staircase, "considering I just handed Bruce my resignation."

Leslie? [Dick smiles warmly, leaning on his canes] Is everything ok? Did Bruce sent you to check up on me?

She gives him a warm smile in return and gives his upper arm a brief squeeze. "You been overdoing it again?" she teases, already knowing the answer before he has a chance to reply.

Always. [Dick grins.] You know me. [He pull her into a warm hug.] How have you been?

The hug is wholeheartedly returned, the depth of her affection for him plainly evident. When she pulls away though, her smile has waned. "I've been better," she replies honestly. "Someone left me a little present on my desk last night."
