Illumination and Introspection [Bones, Spock Prime - SFA]

Jan 29, 2011 18:55

One afternoon when leaving the main Administration building, Bones spotted someone walking down the corridor away from him. Even at this distance, Leonard could tell it was a Vulcan, and he followed him on the chance that it was who he thought it was.

Jim had mentioned the mind meld a few times, not saying too much other than remarking on the intensity of the experience, and how the man essentially saved his life down on that ice cube Spock had shipped him off to. But the events were diametrically opposed, Old Spock saving him from New Spock, and Bones just wanted to talk to him, find out for himself what was going on.

His suspicions were confirmed as he got closer. Not many Vulcans here on Earth, most of the survivors had already left to go regroup with their own, so Old Spock couldn't blend in as well as he might have wanted, if that was his intention. "Excuse me," he called out, stepping behind the older man. "Excuse me."

san francisco, spock prime, earth, this is my life?
