(no subject)
I love my job most days, but it is rather annoying that I have to work when most people are in the play zone. I work every weekend, I am supposed to get 4 off a year, but I can't always take them. Summer is always the busiest time of the year. I have managed to plan a week out at the end of August with my family, but it took major planning and negotiations to ensure that my summer programs would be sufficiently wrapped up and that I could get back in time to launch the Fall. All that to say, I WANT TO BE IN CHICAGO!
As I am typing this, I am realizing my ambien is kicking in and probably should get off before I start rambling too much. (We have a system around here, I get to sleep by myself on Saturday nights, so I can function on Sundays (my busiest day). I love my children more than anything but sometimes I just need to sleep more than an 1 or so at a time.)
