(no subject)
Hey, everyone...Sorry I haven't posted in so long, but it just keeps slipping my mind...and at least it isn't as big of a gap in updates as it is sometimes...Anyway, I'm finally up in Spartanburg, thank God...One of the best things about being up here is I get to fall asleep in Adam's arms everynight...I love him so much, and I know that he loves me, too...Other stuff that's gone on since I got up here: started class of course...had to change my schedule a bit (put me in 202 Spanish when I should've been in 201)...so now my Schedule is MWF 930-1020 English 101, 1030-1120 Public Speaking..TuTh 10-1120 Econ Honors, 1-2 PE Beginning Swimming, 230-350 English 203 Survey American Lit....To me it's almost just like high school except more stressful (yes, already)...in fact, the other night (Thursday) I was working on a paper for ENG 101 and after about two paragraphs the words start running together and my right arm goes numb and when I tried to talk I could barely get a coherent word out at a time...after a while my head started hurting, too...Carrie went and got the RA of our building who came and tried to talk to me...when she saw how bad I was, she went and got someone from the other freshmen dorm and they went and called around seeing what they should do...in the end, the RA (Whitney Fisher) ended up driving in front of me and Carrie to the hospital...my speech had degraded somewhat before little by little getting slightly better...after we got to the ER, Carrie called Adam for me and he got out of work as soon as he could...he was supposed to be working til close but I know he didn't stay later than 10 (this whole thing started around 9 and we got to the hospital around 930 or so)...Adam got to the hospital and came running in there and he stayed by my side the whole time...Carrie ended up calling my mom and dad who ended up calling my grandparents and a slew of other people....D Momma and D Daddy came up there, followed not long after by Grandma and Grandpa...I had to have been waiting for an hour and a half or two hours before they all finally got there and went after the doctors bitching about why no one had seen me (this is after Adam already tried to find someone to help me but they said they were all "busy")...they said something along the lines of they thought I had already been seen briefly...so FINALLY a doctor comes back there and sees me....I saw probably 3 or 4 doctors and quite a few nurses and got four shots and had to have a CT scan or something like that done and all that good junk...in the end, all they really focused on was my headache, which was the last thing to start, and I think it got worse cuz I couldn't sleep since I was in the hospital...we all assume though that all this was caused by stress...We finally ended up getting out of there at 530 am Friday...most of that time, none of us got any sleep...I got a little but not enough to help my headache...and through all this, Adam was right there by my side...Grandma and D Momma saw how he was taking care of me and their opinions of him skyrocketed...D Momma had called a few days before this all happened and asked me to come home next weekend and she made it a point to say come alone, but now she's asking me to bring Adam...So it seems that all is well between my family and Adam now, which is quite nice...But yeah, now I'm just worried about this happening again (I was scared shitless enough the first time, I don't want it to happen again O_o Eek)...but yeah, that's the main exciting thing that's been going on in my life, I suppose...go into the hospital and scare the shit out of everyone, heh...Well, I really don't feel like writing anymore at the moment, so I'm gonna go watch a bit of TV while I wait for Adam to get home, I guess...Anyway, I'll post again sometime...yall should do the same XP...
