The setting:
mum and i are laying out in the sun.  she in her makeshift bikini, i in my unbearably cute pineapple one.  around us, a bee keeps buzzing and landing - then looping around the general vicinity only to arrive back to its perch on my/her foot.  we are annoyed.  i am borderline nervous.
