Working the Streets

Huntress watched from her vantage point on a nearby roof. She was in Bludhaven, and here without backup. These people were not her family and kin. Her family, outside of what was left in Italy, were all dead. And this was a way of life she despised.

Hell, even as far as 'normal' mafia went, this family would be considered scum for drug running. There was an odd sort of honor to it. On the other hand, you couldn't work crime long in any city without eventually turning to the drug money. It was business. And an interesting study in what happened to a group that was originally intended to keep the French out of Italy.

They now ran drugs and were bad stereotypes and subject of horrifically stupid movies.

Five. Four. Three. Two. One. Huntress jumped from the roof to a low overhang and from that to the ground.

She didn't have the other Birds with her - but this was family business. And it could get ugly. She knew that and kicked the first muscle guy she saw in the jaw with a satisfying crack. Everyone now knew she was here.
