He's still not quite sure what's going on. Things are bad all over the world. These two Titans intend to get to Titans' Tower to provide help.
But in New York Harbor, out of nowhere, Black Manta and the Shark attacked them both. He'll later learn that villains were attacking random locations all across the globe, but for the moment, none of that is known.
For now, all he knows is that he and Tula are fighting for their lives against both the Shark and Black Manta.
He's not willing to mess around. Eels wrap around around Black Manta, holding him back while Garth sends several punches into him, stunning the baby-killing villain. He's not playing around -- this is one of the few villains he's considered killing over the years. He won't... at least not today... but he's been tempted.
