Wearing Black To an Outing:
Kathy Duquesne steps into the party with a spring in her step. Her dress hangs off her, glittering red in the light of the room. A fund-raiser for children in this holiday season, Kathy didn't want to miss this. Even as mixed up as she was still feeling from the events of Blackest Night -- and the kiss from Bruce that followed -- she couldn't bring herself to avoid this gathering. Sure, they'd get the money whether she attended or not -- but she wants to support the cause with more than just her pocketbook.
She moves through the ball, flitting between small social interactions gracefully, causing just enough raised eyebrows to make people think that Kathy Duquesne was that shallow, rather daft woman she pretended to be.
She realizes that Bruce might show up... but she thinks it unlikely. With everything that happened in Blackest Night, he probably needs a little more time to get his head in order.
If he shows up... she'll probably let him bring up the kiss. If he wants to do so at all.
