Hal Jordan flies through space, his face hard and grim. He's flying escort duty today, along with dozens of other Green Lanterns, which normally doesn't bother him in the least

None of the Lanterns were a very talkative bunch, as Arisia flew with the group of Lanterns assigned to escort Sinestro to his execution on Korugar.
She flew so that she was alongside Hal. She didn't say anything, but she turned her head to give him a small smile...just to show him that she was there in case he did want to talk.
John flew quietly as well, thinking to himself about everything he'd learned, decided and been through over the last few months. His idea to talk to the Guardians about Thanagar had been sidetracked by the execution, but he'd get to dealing with Blackfire eventually.
Right now, he was more worried about Hal and his feelings on the Sinestro matter. They were friends, a long time ago. He knew Hal would see this through and do his duty, but John was sure it wasn't easy for him.
"I don't know what a flitter-by is, Perdoo. I hope we can just do this and get back to Oa. There's other stuff in the universe that he need to get handled." John says.
"Yep. Got that right. Sooner we're done here, sooner I can get back to training up the new poozers back on Oa." Kilowog flew next the cell itself, making sure no one would get to it. When you need something protected, you send in the only Lantern who's ring makes a sound. Even in space. Ignore the laws of physics, and just accept what you hear.
And to go with that, you send in Ion. Sodam Yat looked at the Sciencell.
The sooner this is over with, the better. The Sinestro Corps has caused too much pain for the galaxy. The Sinestro Corps left a bad taste in Sodam's mouth. Filling the people of the universe with fear and anger. It was people like them that, if anything, reinforced the xenophobia of his native Daxam. And Sodam Yat didn't like that one bit.
Kyle was not happy. Nothing new lately, but this was a little more heavy on his mind. He'd always tried to avoid political discussion concerning the death penalty, small wonder when he ran with a crowd that included Oliver Queen and Carter Hall, often in the same room together, because it was something he recognized as too complex to give a black or white answer to.
He couldn't argue Korugar's right to justice, and he understood their anger, but he still wasn't keen on marching someone to the executioner's block, even if he wasn't the one holding the axe, or whatever they were planning to use.
"You enjoy boot camp, 'Wog. I'm filing for a three day pass for me and Jenny soon as this is over."
Jenny is not for the death penalty, but she doesn't express that opinion much. Some of the things Hank and Todd have done over the years might qualify them. Heck, who's not guilty of something around here, except maybe Kyle?
"Seconded," she murmurs. "So what's the overall plan here?"

"Do you suppose there will be flitter-bys?" he asked of no one in particular.
