Lisa's birthday
Yesterday was Lisa's birthday. We took the 160 downtown and got a call from Kevin and Jordan, who were already at Red Robin, and they told us it was extremely busy and would be an hour for a table for two. And we needed a table for about 15. So they walked down Robson and found this Greek restaurant. We all arrived and had a merry time. Then we went over to the Plaza club. It was actually alright. $12 cover was pretty gross, but the drinks weren't too unreasonable. It was very... gangsta. But surprisingly, they played 2 Madonna songs (Hung Up and Like a Prayer) which didn't really fit into the playlist that included stuff like Hot In Herre and Drop It Like It's Hot. But it was still pretty good. We left around 12:45 and caught the last skytrain to Lougheed and a 97B line home. :-)
