A/N: the title and italics in the text come from Rabindranath Tagore's "Stray Birds". i read this guy too much. (and i wanted to try something different... beware the weirdness.)
also... thank you to everyone who commented on my last drabble here, and i apologize for not being able to reply. i read and cherish them all. thank you.
He was twenty two, a pop-star, and shuffling into the kitchen, his eyes glued to the hems of his pajama-pants. He kept stepping on them.
Squinting, he reached for the coffee-jug and hissed when his fingers collided with it too soon, his nails tingling from the impact. The heat licked at his skin, quick tease of black, no sugar.
Yoochun cursed.
"That mouth on you," Jaejoong sidestepped Yoochun's elbow on his way to the fridge, opened it on the second try. "What d'you want to eat? We've got some jjigae and... yeah, jjigae."
"Whatever-"
"Guys, we need to hurry-"
Yoochun nodded, collecting his coffee and a nudge from Jaejoong. Yunho stopped him in the doorway.
"Where's Junsu?"
Yoochun looked up. Behind the leader, Changmin was stretching to his very limits in a yawn.
"Why are you asking me? You're rooming with him-"
A piece of paper dangled in front of his eyes, blue ink pooling in the creases.
Yoochun dropped his mug.
Jaejoong shouted 'careful'. Yunho caught his shoulder, 'wait, your feet-' Changmin reached between them.
"Let my thoughts come to you, when I'm gone," he read out-loud. "Like the afterglow-"
Yoochun shifted in the shards and started throwing up.
