concrit, please.
[an instance after the decision.]
note: i didn't know whether or not i should post this. not only because i felt it wasn't well written, but because it made me sad. i hope i won't make anyone upset with this. remember, just fiction. :)
/yunho./
yunho splays fingers over the scar on his face as well as one eye. his head hurts, a mindless pain, traveling to one side of his head then back to the front. his eyes feel hot; focusing on a single object becomes difficult. sweat streams coolly along his neck and down the small of his back.
"i'll take it" he says.
it's the first job he's taken solo; the first he's taken so alone and small. still, the pride he has had for so long has never fallen short. he takes a breath and draws on the strength of five.
/yoochun./
a kind of eerie calms takes over.
yoochun's doing well, people say.
yoochun's working hard and putting sorrows behind him.
but really, he's doing none of that. he's just denying the existence of something cracking foundations inside him. he's always been greedy, wanting to keep the good and the ideal. this time his psyche wants to do the same.
nothing's been broken.
no one's been separated.
but then he sees junsu and jaejoong. gaunt faces and weary smiles. it's when he can barely face them that he breaks and yearns for what once was, no matter how fragile and unstable.
/junsu./
knock and it shall be opened.
so far, there's only been once in his life where junsu has doubted: a time when his voice caged the song within him.
it's ironic that this time it's his members and that, this time, he gets a chance to sing even louder than before.
when junsu cries in anguish, he almost feels as if god is now telling him to choose. his members or his voice? his voice or his brothers?
'is it punishment for loving them almost as much as you?' he asks when in prayer. but he gets no reply.
/jaejoong./
jaejoong likes to think he's pretty reckless.
get drunk, have fun, and smoke like a chimney: things jaejoong liked to do.
so it's incredibly funny to jaejoong that, when he decides to do something serious, something for the greater good, for once in his life that things go from wrong to worse to hell.
because when five becomes three, it hurts that they don't keep in touch. yes, they have an understanding; it still hurts.
jaejoong sometimes dreams of the past. in the end, jaejoong stands firm. this time, he'll see what happens when he keeps to the straight road.
/changmin./
it's really just very annoying.
there's not many people that understand him. so why is it that when he finally gets his hyungs trained, he has to say goodbye?
he remembers days when he wanted nothing but to sing. he wants to shake his three hyungs so that they can remember, remember that it was sm entertainment that gave them their big break. he wants to scream at them: "why can't you just be grateful?"
but when he sees them, across the way at the airport one day, all changmin can mouth is: "come back, please" and "i miss you."
