Another Pleasant Valley Sunday
I don't really know why I chose that as a title. It just popped into my head. Anyway, I have had a blast this week, thanks mostly to Kristy but also Leigh. Kristy's fantastic and continues to be so every time I hang out with her. Friday morning I woke up at around 12, went out and bought new shoes and got a haircut. All in preparation for the dance. The dance, it turned out, was pretty small. Only about 15 people or so there. It's the only time I wished that I remembered all the ballroom and swing dancing from high school. I did get to dance with her once though, which was fun. She danced with a few other people much more experienced than I. Although Tuesday we're going to take lessons up at school so I'll learn a bit more. We left a little early to hang out at the dorm. Definitely a good night. :). I called out of work Saturday. Not that it really mattered. I went to work today and there was absolutely nothing for me to do. I left after about 3 hours because no one had any extra work that I could help with. So I came home in time to grab dinner with my grandmothers and great aunt. This would be a good time to mention if I haven't already the fact that my mother is an incredibly good cook. We had spaghetti and meatballs with stuffed peppers. Then for dessert we had apple dumplings. A fantastic dinner. So now I'm watching the game and trying to get some work on the Grapes of Wrath critique done. My mind keeps turning to an email I have to write though. Blarg. There it goes again. I'll get it done tonight so I can stop thinking about it. Tomorrow I'm working on prophecy stuff and getting my hw done for the week. So I should have another entry up Wednesday maybe. No promises.
