What's wrong with a super hero? part 4-Renegades of Funk

So by now you'll have seen that I have alot of problems with Super heroes. But that's only the things that creators and the like don't want to do with them. In my eyes, and that means its my head and not yours, I think that super heroes need to be more free in what they do.

I think there needs to be more choices where the heroes may have to kill a criminal, or(for fucks sake) a super villain. I also think that they need to get back more to their roots in CRIME FIGHTING as they all started with. And there needs to be more Heroes of Color. I didn't include sexuality in this whole bit, mostly because that's a very difficult topic and its just as important as racial issues, I'll take one step at a time. The first two, need to happen and should go hand in hand. But race and sexuality, would have to be dealt with seperately in progression. Or rather, entrance in the industry. It'll be harder to get the creators to be sold on making more Heroes of Color and having more of them with different sexual orientations. The audience already wants to see this stuff.

What I propose is not to make established heroes BE of other colors and sexual orientation, but to make new ones that are. Though they all need to make those hard choices to have to kill, as well as ACTUALLY fight crime. The new heroes can be of all other colors and sexual orientations. Just that they need to include the sexuality part, alittle later. Or rather get used to it themselves.

If a super hero is to be a beacon, a symbol to all people, they damn well better be like all people under them tights. But just having new HoC come in isn't gonna do it outright. The existing heroes need to be introduced to a whole new game. And that's where my real idea kicks in.

If there really were super powered beings out in the world, would all of them be wearing tights? Would all of them have capes and fly around and 'save the day?' Hell no. Some of these people would undoubtably be in A governments services. And if they are what will that do to the community of super heroes. Not to say what Marvel is doing with their 'Civil War' story arc, but if just any new super powered being just went in and registered with a government and had no 'alter ego.' Just a man or woman, working for a cause while tax payers fund them. But what if there were a group, that thought no one was really working out the real issues in the world that hurt us? What if they thought that the governments brusiers weren't being put in the right place? Or if a super hero can really make the difference they try to, if they don't know whats really going on where their fingers can't reach?

Here's where you find a few individuals that put a team together, to really fight crime, and fix the problems we all have. They may not do the right thing in others eyes, but it's what they believe is. This group won't be allied with a country or nation, they'll act all their own. And they'll go where ever they're needed. They'll try to do the right thing and fight for justice and whatever it is that super heroes do, they just won't pull any punches. Cuz the world isn't a kind place. Individuals are, but the masses will hate you, despise you, fight you, kill you. You just have to find a way to survive it.

Cuz sometimes life throws you a bone and lends you a hand. And sometimes it throws you a rope to hang yourself with. You just have to know how to use what your given to take a step forward.
