It's my last week at uni. I have 3 assignments to go, and I am excited, yet feeling very drained. These assignments take up my time, fill my thoughts, seep into my dreams and rest heavily on my shoulders. I can't wait to be rid of them, and focus on the future! It's hard to concentrate but i'm almost there....
The Games
So the Trivia Night was fun, I really enjoy it, having fun and laughing and getting excited over the answers, I might actually try and go to more because i enjoy it so much! heehee! But i won't be able to get drunk anymore because I'll be working the next day for the next four weeks *cry*
The Excitement
U2 is exactly 19 days away, Friday the 10th of November! I've booked the accom, the travel and the excitement is coming for free...although people are dropping like flies in our group. I mean wtf is that about? You are going to see u2...fucking U2!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
The Gig
So I saw Josh Pyke last night. It was a great great gig. I was a little pished again (woooooo for drunkeness at the corner!) but it was good as it made the time go faster, as Josh didn't get on stage till 11.15pm! argh! He sang a GREAT set, and I kept cheating and yelling out songs that were next on his setlist (we were right at the front, like the groupies we are!) and he was all like 'and here it is!' We also made his bass guitarist feel happy by yelling out 'you rock bass gutarist' i think his name is Bryce (is that right jenn jenn?) he sounded really good and i took some mega close up photies of him i don't know how they turned out?! When Josh came on for his encore hes second song was silver so i called it out then he said 'this is silver' and i yelled rather drunkenly 'i love this song!!' and he said 'well then this is for you' awww ♥ ♥ Isn't he a sweetheart! After the gig finished some drone at the front (side note, i dont understand some people who get to gigs early, take up a pos in the front row then dont seem to enjoy themselves, NEVER smile, NEVER sing and just stand there looking bored WHY WHY WHY go fuck off down the back if you don't care!) stole the set list, so i asked the cute gutarist tuner if he had any spare and he went and got one for me, he was beautiful and had a great smile OH! and i was all groupie like and grabbed for josh's water bottle! ahahahahahah It was like i was 15 again with andrews bottle! LMAO! We drank from it, like the losers we are! Afterwards the were getting everyone to leave so we went across to the security guard and i asked him if he could get josh to come out and sign our set lists. One secuirty guard said 'whos this josh pyke?' im like errr the singer?! hahahaha but i guess they see so many people at the corner! ANYHOO, he came out and was very nice and signed our setlists (he recognised we were th elittle group who called out for silver!) and i asked him to come to Alice Springs, he said he'd love too, so i promised i'd pimp him (i bet he won't though! fucking record companies! BOO!) but yes great gig! :D
