Author Note: So time to start the second round. lol I am not doing these in any particular order this time… just as the ideas hit me. :)

Reed does not understand. I hide my eyes, my face from the horror that Otto Von Doom has become not out of some maidenly feeling of… anything. The man was a monster and now he looks it. Though he is not dead. That is the pity of it all. Had the lightning strike killed him, I’d feel better. I’d know that he’d gone to face the wrath God has waiting for him. I’d know he was burning in the bowels of hell, where monsters like him are supposed to go.
Any man who could do the things Otto Von Doom has done; locking up his fellow men, not feeding them, torturing them for four years… he has brought his fate upon himself. And the things I witnessed in my little prison in his chambers, the things he pulled me into… I should have cut his throat a thousand times, or done worse. God help me, I didn’t, and I shall carry that regret with me always.
I resist the urge to spit on his still smoking carcass. It would not be ladylike, and even after all I’ve seen, all I’ve been through, I will be a lady again.
No Reed. I have no tears for monsters.
