Gloat time!
Whoo-ha! Mets sweep the Dodgers! Willie Randolph, my hat is off to you, sir! Now all they have to do is kick the ass of whoever wins the Cardinals/Padres series and off to the World Series they go! Perhaps a Subway Series against the Yankees. Oh wait a minute...that ain't happening because the Yankees choked. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

In other news, R.I.P. Tower Records. Yeah, they jumped the shark back around 1995 or so, but back in my day, I thought it was the coolest thing to have a record store open until midnight. I have fond memories of the store on the corner of Mass. Ave and Newbury Street in Boston. It's a Virgin Megastore now. Give it a few weeks and I am so going down to the store on 4th Street in Manhattan to see what early Christmas presents I can buy.
