I keep worrying myself over whether I want to be a dentist or not...in less than a year I will be going to college, and I don't want to switch majors and waste money. and I'm kinda glad I'm not going away because I'm scared I won't do as well or it'll be "harder," so I'm kinda relieved to be going to IUN. I'm not sure if I'll make it as a dentist and stare at mouths for the rest of my life, so I'm thinking of becoming an ophthalmologist, which sounds better and makes almost $100G's more...but that means I'll have to go to medical school and go through all that medical doctor shit, but I might as well since dental school is 4 years too. buuut I'm already getting experience in the dental field, and I really like it, and I have no idea what it's like to be in ophthalmology. I wish my plan was as good as my sister's, since a lot of universities will pay for her nursing education and nurse anesthesists actually typically make more than a dentist, and THAT pisses me off since I'll go through all that trouble to be outdone by my sister... my family thinks of me as some fucking einstein, so I feel pressured to prove that I'm "above" my sister and earn more than her and have a higher degree than her but also have the prestige of "M.D." after my name.... ahhhh I'm not ready to grow up quite yet. =/
