Jury Duty

So, I had to do jury duty yesterday. I didn't get picked to be on a jury. I didn't even go in a courtroom. They weren't ready for that day. There were a few groups that got called to go to courtrooms in the morning, but my name was never called. The courtrooms for the afternoon weren't ready, so all the people left were dismissed

Yup, jury duty is awful for people with anxiety. And it's not fair to the defendant for anxious people to serve on a jury - they might be disinclined to speak up and voice an opinion.

I'm surprised you're not able to get out of jury duty since you've been diagnosed with Asperger's.

I might have been able to get out of it, however I'm not seeing my therapist any more so I couldn't have gotten a doctor's note.
