Over the past week or so I finished Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Then I played LOOM. I wish that game wasn't so short and the sequel(s) could have been made because I realize the plot doesn't make much sense. I've played that game many times and this is the first time I actually felt like I didn't have a clue what the game was about lol. Anyway that ends my classic LucasArts kick I think. I'm going back to hidden object/casual games for now unless I decide I get bored with them. I don't know what I'll play then. The last episode of Back to the Future comes out next week.
Both of my parents now have health issues that's starting to require them to change their diets. I guess we all should try to start eating healthier. I have young parents, but I wonder if this is a sign of things to come. Getting older means a higher likelihood of having age related health problems. I wish no one had to get older.
Lately I've been watching Disney Channel movies on youtube. The good ones from the late 90s/early 2000s. Watching those that I've seen and those I haven't. It led me to a movie I had previously forgotten about, called Don't Look Under the Bed. I love that one and it's nice to remember it again.
So, that's what I've been doing. Still working and got my first couple of paychecks. I'm probably going to open a bank account soon. I don't think I foresee my hours increasing however, since there's barely enough work for me to do at the hours I got. And also the program that's been helping me: WECARE is being cut from the school, which means Sheryl and the others will lose their job at the end of this month. They won't be able to help me anymore and then my caseworker is closing my case this December. It's really too bad. Times are tough for everyone. I'm almost in a stuck position again, but I'm fine with this job so far and the most important part is I'm being paid.
