Rock Music

We went to Tower Records yesterday. It's going out of business of course. Probably due to music downloading. They had a lot of crap they were selling there. Most of it was over priced, even though it was on sale. I ended up getting a Cure cd, but I'm regreting it now because I don't like the songs on there, however I do like some of their stuff. I just wasted money.

I've also been watching some music videos of my favorite songs on youtube. I really need music as a distraction right now. I have to say Billy Idol made some strange ones, but strange in a good way.

It's unfortunate that today it seems like rock music has died. All that plays on the radio these days is rap and more rap, and then some more rap. KISS FM went downhill as soon as Ryan Seacrest took over(not that I don't like him as a person)so I never listen to that anymore. It has in fact become the worst station ever. I'd like to think that rock isn't fully dead. I still hold hope that it may come back. It's only a matter of time. I'm hoping one day that one band will come, and write a song that brings rock back into popularity. A genre of music can't completely die can it? You never know what might happen in the future. Wishful thinking? I hope not.
