I had the best New Years Eve of my life.
I worked from 10-6 and then Alex picked me up from work.
I took a shower while he made me my favorite dinner, fettucene alfredo .. and attempted to make alfredo sauce.
He's more of a grill man though, and we decided to heat up some ragu instead. XD But it was still a great dinner.
Then we plopped in front of the fire, talking for a little while and then he decided it was time to reveal his surprise.
A slow dance to a song. :) He doesn't like to dance, but he knew that I did and did this for me.
And the other half of the surprise was he had covered his bed with a ton of rose petals and set a bouquet of roses on top of it.
Yeah. Yeah. I know. Amazing. A-freakin'-mazing.
I spent the night, just the two of us. Epic win. We were really glad our parents trusted us, that definitely means they really like the two of us together.. which makes us extremely happy. :)
Waking up to him is like waking up to heaven.
Then we had breakfast at my house, which you could hear our laughter from outside. Just the way I like it :)
All in all, a wonderful New Years.
The downside was we were both exhausted, him from cleaning the entire house and such.. and me with work and the possibility of my deficiency kicking in again.
I'm still bruising constantly and I'm starting to sleep a lot more again.
I've got those terrible body aches again.
I got 12 hours of sleep yesterday and it did not feel enough.
Apparently there is something wrong with me if the medication didn't work.
It was supposed to keep my Vitamin-D level up, but it appears it shot down again.
Now I have to have a ton of milk, orange juice, vitamins and such.
And I believe I'm going in for a blood test on Monday.
*sigh*
