Day 4: The Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Galleria Borghese

The restaurant that I ate at last night has a caramel banana shake with my name on it. I just have to figure out when I can go there.

I forgot to mention that Italian guys don’t walk, they strut. It’s kind of a bounce in their step.

Annoyingly, I woke up before my alarm and couldn't go back to sleep.

Hmm. The church that I want to go see is open only on Sundays. I could see the outside, but it's the inside that I really want to see. Oh well, got to leave some items for my next trip. The restaurant that I want to go to is a 10-minute walk, which is doable. Well, my legs are screaming at me, so maybe not.

We saw the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Galleria Borghese today. It was a lot of walking. None of them really impressed me except for some paintings in the Galleria. I found another souvenir by buying a book on art in Italian. The guy selling it to me tried to talk me out of it, but I wanted a couple of books in Italian. I can read it slowly :) Speaking of reading, I've been enjoying reading the signs in Italian.

I ate dinner across the street. I was able to eat the dinner that I wanted, Spaghetti Cacio E Pepe. I also had the shake. Now I'm in a food coma. I'm thinking of lying down for an hour.

We leave for Florence tomorrow. I need to be mostly packed. We have to put the suitcases outside at 6:30 AM.

The pictures are not loading for some reason, so no pictures today. I hope that the WIFi works better at the new hotel.
