Breakfast in the hotel was a bust. They were out of everything. I'll definitely need to have lunch before I go.
The hotel has some really pretty flowering trees that my plant identifier app says is a pear. I'll have to look into them. Apparently they’re invasive and the article that I read says not to plant them. Oh well.
I canceled BistroMD so that I don't accidentally get charged. I'm sure that they'll be happy to have me back when I'm ready.
Checked out of the hotel. I’m at the house. I need to gather up the stuff that Dad wanted, throw out some food, and wait for Donovan.
Donovan has come and gone. He did his usual good job moving stuff. All the stuff that I wanted is in the car and the stuff that I don’t want is piled in the garage. Now I’m having lunch.
Got my gardening stuff and pictures out of storage and took off. Nice day for a drive. Now I’m stopped at a Steak and Shake for dinner. I’m on the last leg of the trip.
I made it! I was duly cat scanned (Zara) and jumped on (Mimi). It’s downright hot in the house. (It was a high of 83F today. They’re expecting 79 tomorrow.) Brought in my suitcase, toiletries, and the laptops. Everything else can wait until tomorrow.
I'm going to sleep as soon as I find something that isn't too hot to sleep in. Central Illinois, where winter turns into summer in a single day :)
