Wednesday
The rug in the dining room is absolutely gray with grime. I found a place nearby that cleans rugs. Maybe I could have a mover guy move the furniture once I get the dining room cleaned out so that we can nab the rug. I need to get the rugs in the other rooms cleaned too.
Apparently my cleaner "is unable to complete the task" today. Oh well. I'll get someone for next week (done for next Tuesday). Just as well because I don't have all the counters cleaned off. That's my task by Tuesday.
The trust person apologized for her mistake. She stopped over for a death certificate and had me sign some papers for Mom's car. She said that the money will be available in a few days, and she'll deposit it in Mom's account.
I think that I'm an Amazon junkie. I'm following my plan to make a list of items to order at one shot, but my "Buy Now" finger is twitching ;) Though I do need my stuff before the trip, so I don't want to delay too long. But there's some time.
The Woman Within order that went to Urbana arrived there but is being forwarded automatically. Yay.
Yay. I dragged myself through the day on little sleep. A nap is in order. I slept through until morning. Mimi is being very talkative. Zara keeps checking on me, but Mimi is chasing her away. Sigh.
