Chilly Progress
Chilly this morning, but it's supposed to go up to 80F during the day. I guess that I'll still wear shorts.
I had problems with the new little shaver, but then I found out that you need to apply pressure to it. It made quick work of my legs, and they are very smooth. The shorts are comfortable. I'm trying to decide if I want a pair of white shorts. Oh, I guess so. Ordered from eBay.
I found a resale shop in which all the proceeds go to people in need, and they're open on the weekend. They will get Mom's clothes. She would approve.
Tried to nap at lunch, but couldn't sleep. I turned the ceiling fan off because it was chilly.
The mower guy came and mowed the lawn. Awesome.
I found a plumber! He and his assistant came over and did an estimate. They had to give a range for fixing the hot water downstairs, but still, their prices are reasonable. They're coming back on Friday to do the work. I need to clean out part of the basement for them.
Oh wow, I really like the dress that I bought for the Hawaii trip! The only thing is that I need shoes to go with it (found some). The dress would also work for a dress-up night on the cruise too.
Tried to sleep again but couldn't sleep. My mind is racing. Okay, I should stop lounging and do stuff.
Gathered up garbage and recycling, including some stuff from the bathroom. The recycling bin wasn't full, and I need to keep filling it to get magazines out of here, so I need to work on filling it over the week. But I'm done for tonight. I need to get up early to wash out a litter box.
Now I'm buying air crash books to go with the air crash videos. That reminded me when I was young, I was discussing air crashes with my dad on a plane until he told me that maybe we should table the discussion. I'm not a nervous flier. It used to be that I could barely keep my eyes open when I got on a plane, but the last few flights that I took, I no longer slept as well.
