Onwards Into the Arctic Tundra

The girls are celebrating Christmas Eve by getting into a spat. I told them, "Peace on earth and goodwill towards cats, huh?" They stopped.

I was looking at doormats at Overstock.com, and finally found one that says "Welcome" with a picture of two cats. We have a winner!

I was kind of wishing that I had a pine-scented candle, although having a candle near all the packing stuff doesn't sound like a great idea. I could get a wax warmer though. Hmm. Walmart closes at 6 PM today.

Mimi is plastered against my legs, grooming herself.

Threw myself together and went out. The car started right away. (It was 16F and windy.) The wind was especially bad near Walmart, so I did something that I never do and didn't bring the cart back. I did get pine- and fir-scented wax melts and a warmer for them though. And some other odds and ends. Some people ahead of me in line with rainbow-colored hair were cheerful and friendly. Now I'm thawing and Zara is keeping me warm. Oh, she wants food.

Checked on when classes start in January. The 17th. That gives me a little free time.

Lay down to warm up and slept until 12:30 AM. Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah/Happy Holidays to those that celebrate it.

I need to put my clothes in the dryer (done). I want pajamas that are toasty warm from the dryer.

Oops, I forgot to call Mom tonight. I'll call her tomorrow (today).

christmas, classes, mimi, zara, errands, mom, house, cats
