It's Been Quite a Day
I overslept until 9 AM. Bah. I wonder if I took a double dose of my meds because I wasn't sure if I had taken them. I guess that I'll call AAA after my last meeting. I am feeling totally groggy.
My back is really hurting today. I don't know why. Also, I wasn't feeling well all day. Dizzy, possible low-grade fever, swollen lymph nodes, and a sore throat. And huge dark circles under my eyes. But I soldiered through because I had too much stuff going on.
The study session for my programming class was good, but it ran way long, so I had to bail before it was over because I had a presentation to give. The presentation went okay.
I called the place where I'm supposed to get my CPAP, and no one was there. Maybe I should just wait until I move and have the doctor send the requisition to somewhere in Champaign-Urbana.
Then I contacted AAA. I waited two hours and nothing. Then I received a message saying that the request was completed. No, it wasn't. I noticed that the form that they texted me wouldn't take my lot number, just the base street address, so I called them. I told them multiple times to include the lot number and also that I needed a jump start or a battery. They dispatched the guy fairly quickly. When he got to Lincoln, he called me and asked if I needed a jump start, and I said "or a battery," and he said that he didn't sell batteries. Then he asked what trailer I was in, so they didn't give him the lot number. The good part is that the car started right up and is in running fine now.
I stopped at Walmart for post-it notes at the end of my running the car to charge the battery. Now I'm seriously thinking of changing my plans and just going to sleep really early and get up early because I'm still not feeling great.
