It's a spend the morning in pajamas day. And it's cold in here (55F outside), so I turned the heat on.

The world doesn't work like it used to. A third of the items I order from Walmart never show up. It takes a month to get an appointment with a vet. I turned the hot water tap in my kitchen and a geyser of water shot out all over the place.

I didn't know you lived in a mobile home. How has that experience been for you?

The mobile home is okay, but the insulation is thin, so I tend to pile on clothing in the winter (and I have two cats piling on me to share my warmth). The complex hasn't been great on maintenance, but it looks like they finally hired a guy who will stick around a while.

I can imagine the wind almost blowing right through something like that, off the ground as it is. At least you seem to have a halfway decent company. Lots of mobile home parks are being sold to corporations which raise the rent and evict people. You can still move when you choose.
