Sleepy, Snuggly Day
Had some snuggle time with Zara on my lap. Love my Z.
Checked whether the local park district's pool is open, but it's closed. If it's not open now, I doubt that it will open this summer.
Received the pants that I ordered. I'll try them on later.
Had a lengthy email discussion with my dad about traveling during the pandemic. He said that I should get refundable reservations and stay at hotels, not Airbnbs (both sensible). I need to check out the travel restrictions in the states that I'd drive though, not just Tennessee.
Took a nap.
More snuggle time with Zara. She's being extra-snuggly today. She even fell asleep on my lap. Took a second nap, and Mimi lay down on me. Ooof. Mimi is not light.
Talked to Mom. She had a frustrating week with lots of stuff going wrong. She's worried about how my aunt and uncle are doing. They really need help, but my aunt doesn't want anyone whom she doesn't know in the house. Plus, she's a perfectionist. Mom thinks that Knoxville and Chattanooga sound interesting. She doesn't want me to live in Florida.
Looked at hotels in Tennessee and travel restrictions.
Hard to believe, but I'm thinking of going back to bed.
