"Let's play this game called 'When You Catch Fire'..."
Yesterday was awesome. I met Kaela at the Gourmet bakery in town for breakfast and we left from there. The car ride was eventful, to say the least. Yay for almost getting killed like twenty million times. haha "Yeah, we're not lost... *turns to Kaela and whispers* Where the hell are we?" So we get to Westchester Mall and we go to Nordstroms to look for shoes. I saw these cute pink Uggs and asked the guy to try them on. He said they only had one pair left, even though they had just gotten a new shipment in that morning. So I asked what size was left and it ended up being my size =o) I love when that stuff happens. So I bought them and a pair of Mavi's. And then we headed over to Abercrombie and I was looking at the polos when I saw Betsy and Sarah! We didn't plan it or anything. So, naturally, I dropped all 8943758 million things I was carrying to try on and screamed and went crazy. We all gossipped for a few before parting ways and buying our clothes. Kaela and I ran down to Sephora, where the cool lady broke the printer. Kaela got this awesome shimmer powder stuff from Urban Decay.
Then we left the mall and got back in the car to go to Great Neck, Long Island where Jessica Michelle Kash lives. An hour later we arrived, met up with Jess, and went out for pizza. Then she took us to her favorite store and I got something from Juicy and tried some things on. It was so great to see Jess... It's so weird living with a person twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week for an entire month and then just leaving and not seeing them anymore. I love her so much and we're hanging out again really soon, but with everyone next time. =o)
After being in suspense the entire day, Kaela and I arrived at Jess' house around seven thirty. Melissa was already there and they were both dressed up. Kaela and I put on our skirts and stuff and then Jess and Melissa blindfolded us and lead us downstairs and into the car. We drove for fifteen or twenty minutes and finally stopped. They lead Kaela and I out of the car and through a door and up a flight of stairs. There was music blasting and Melissa was like "Oh my god look how many people are here!!" Then they told us to take off our blindfolds. Jess and Melissa had transformed the guest room into a party place with streamers, candy, and punch. haha It was great. So then Robert came over and we all hung out. Around eleven thirty we walked him home and Melissa ran away down the street so we had to chase after her. haha She was mad because she didn't get a piggy-back ride. We brought her home and we rented The Perfect Score, ate and went upstairs and talked till three or four.
Today at tennis they announced the rankings and I'm playing fourth singles this year. Not as high as I wanted, but I guess it's pretty good... Can't complain that much. I played well and maybe I'll get to move up during the season.
Everyone else starts school tomorrow and I'm leaving for Cali in the morning =o)
