So I was at the Nuart on Santa Monica, paying $9.50 to enjoy one of my fave movies ever - 2001: A Space Odyssey - in my fave midnight movie setting
Unfortunately, there was a group of boys from AEPi from USC performing a haze. I guess they were being forced to watch the movie (I know, lame), which resulted in totally obnoxious & inappropriate behavior, including running up & down the aisles naked, dancing in front of the screen, and just being generally irritating. Additionally, the theater did not nothing when I & others complained multiple times
So I'm asking all of you to call the hazing hotline @ 1-888-NOT-HAZE (1-888-668-4293). You just leave an anonymous message detailing the event. Tell them that you were at the Nuart on Santa Monica trying to watch a movie & being constantly disrupted by this hazing. The frat in question is AEPi from USC (I even asked one of them where they were from) - make sure you distinguish that
Also tell them that the theater did nothing, perhaps in a pay off, and that you paid money to see this film
Also write a letter to the Nuart & Steven Sample at USC, telling each how disappointed you are. Let them know how this event has tarnished both organizations' reputations. Boycott the Nuart
I know it'll prob do nothing, but who knows?
