Yes yes yes yes! I mean, it was SO OBVIOUS, like, why would they just throw that in if it didn't lead to something? And we've got this love-in of companions, which just highlights how she was a Time Lady and thus (really) his only equal.

My only hope is that, IF IT WERE TO BE SO, it's Romana by way of the same way Davros escaped the Time War (err, not EXACTLY, since someone going insane would not be a plus, but - you know), rather than the whole fob watch business, since that's so last season *yawn*.

New theory: Bad Wolf plucked her out of the void because she knew the Doctor was going to need her, and created all these tiny but coincidental ways that Donna and the Doctor would be linked (meeting twice, Donna's awesomecakes granddad) and forced to eventually meet.
